Campaigning in Slough High Street this weekend

People's Vote street stall in Maidenhead

On Saturday 26th January 2019, a National Day of Action is being organised by activists and supporters from the People’s Vote Campaign, while Parliament decides how to respond to the government’s Brexit plans.

As well as the towns across Berkshire, events are taking place all over the country, with thousands of activists and supporters involved. Street stalls will be set up in towns and cities the length and breadth of the country.

With assistance from Maidenhead for EU, and some other volunteers from other groups nearby, we are running a street stall on Slough High Street from 14:00-16:00, in the area outside Boots (Full address: 184 High St, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 1JR).

It will feature a Brexitometer where people can indicate their opinions anonymously, and leaflets on the People’s Vote. Volunteers will be happy to answer any questions that members of the public might have about The People’s Vote, Brexit and the EU, as well as explaining what they can do to help.

If you have any queries about it, let me know via the contact form on the site.

We've already had coverage in the Slough Observer and Radio Berkshire also plan to run a piece on it in their bulletins.

New volunteers are very welcome. No experience necessary. Come along and say hello.
